We Do Custom Work..

Shopping for and selecting an antique can be an enjoyable project. However most of the time what you have in mind is not available, hard to locate or too expensive even if you do find it. Collection Reproductions can reproduce what you need from a photo or sketch. Collection Reproductions of course cannot make an antique, but it will be difficult to tell the difference, extremely well made, to your specifications, last hundreds of years and it can be handed down from generation to generation.

All the pieces shown below are either major modifications of our standard items, or entirely custom work as specified by a designer for their client. In some cases they were recreated from a submitted photo with specifications. When properly specified we can usually return a quote for custom work within 24 hours of request.

Shown to the left is a beautiful custom table in Cherry with a special chevron parquet top, custom finish and hand carved Adam Style legs. This table accepts two matching center leaves.

 

This spectacular top is a simple modification of our 273-WT. A star parquet in contrasting walnut replaced the standard alder random plank.

 

  

This custom Sheraton style mahogany table opens up to 174" with three pedestals or closes down to 90" with just two pedestals. The complete set is very versatile and consists of three pedestals plus two supplemental leaves.

Special Mahogany veneers and authentic period brass castors were selected to make this table an instant heirloom.

 

 

 

This Tuscan Style Wall Unit Measures 152" x 21" x 86" With upper Bi-Fold doors and drop down lower side doors for speaker access. A special flat wire grill was ordered for the doors. In Pecan with a Lt. Toasty finish.

 

 
 

 

 

A Bonnetiere style display / storage unit that was designed by the customer's own Interior Designer to satisfy their specific needs.

   Made in Alder with interior shelving of wood framed glass. This cabinet measures 114" x 27" x 108" overall. The finish is our Country Gray, a hand painted, distressed and scraped finish that's available on all Collection Reproductions creations.

Shown here is an open & closed cabinet for a plasma TV with Auton lift as submitted by the designer.
Above the two doors (under the top) there is a creative "drop down" storage area for DVD's and Tapes, as well as the remote.
It measures  68" x 22" x 43" overall. Of course, we can build this or any of our cabinets to your specifications.  All we need to know is the dimension of the  LCD or Plasma you are working with.

Which one's the original?   You can't tell. However it's typical of some of the custom work we do.
